April 01, 2016
Welcome to another edition of Baby Medical Q&A News.
I'm sorry there has been a hiatus between ezines, but I have been restructuring my working life so I can have more quality time with my family and particularly, my grandson.
In this month's ezine, you will find the following sections:
When Should I Introduce Peanut to my Infant who is at risk of Allergy?Ok, I know you may be thinking that peanuts are dangerous in infants as they can block the airway. What I really mean in the title is peanut-containing foods, such as peanut butter.
So, in the past, there was advice that if your infant was at risk of allergy, so:
We now know that this advice is incorrect and that, even if your infant is high risk for allergy (as in the list above), foods should be introduced in the first year of life.
Even with this advice, parents have been cautious to introduce peanut-containing foods, but the latest research shows compelling evidence that even if your infant has severe eczema and egg allergy, you are best to introduce peanut-containing foods in the first year of life. Those infants who have peanut-containing foods in the first year compared to later in life have a reduced risk of peanut allergy.
So early introduction of peanut (between 4 and 11 months of age) is the ideal.

Opportunity for some supplemental income working part-time from homeAs I mentioned at the beginning I have been restructuring my working life. Although I love pediatrics, the work can encroach on family time. I have taken the decision to start a new business as a network marketing professional, so I can maintain my lifestyle (which means traveling to the other side of the world to spend time with my grandson) without the unsocial hours.
I promote anti-aging and wellness products that help you look, feel and live younger so you can fully enjoy and engage in life whatever your age.
I use the products myself and love the results, which I can see!! I also love that there is rigorous scientific research and development that goes into every product.
I am currently looking to build my team - I am looking for fun, motivated women (and men) who are open to opportunity.
